Chet Reynolds is a senior global corporate affairs and government relations executive with more than 20 years’ experience in identifying, measuring, monitoring, and mitigating reputational, legislative, regulatory and political risk, across several international jurisdictions (Canada, the United States, South America, the Middle East, Europe, Russia, Africa, and the Caribbean). Focus in sectors where social license to operate and policy/regulatory challenges present significant business risk. Expert in critical stakeholder engagement, including governments (democratic and non-democratic), non-government organizations, labour unions, Indigenous Peoples, investors, and traditional and social media.
Having served with the Departments of National Defence, Foreign Affairs & International Trade and as a Special Assistant to a federal Cabinet Minister, Chet offers a unique blend of political, bureaucratic and industry experience well-suited to organizational objectives. In addition to his government experience, Chet has spent more than a decade in the midstream, upstream, and petrochemicals sectors, primarily as senior Corporate Affairs and Government Relations counsel.
Beyond his work in the natural resources sector, Chet has also been an active volunteer in the field of primary care medicine in Alberta, including alternative methods of delivery of primary care models to optimize costs, efficiencies and physician recruitment/retention.
